About

Children in the Age of AI is an engaging online course that equips educators, curriculum developers, policymakers, parents, and caregivers with the knowledge and tools to support children’s healthy growth in an increasingly AI-driven world. Across eight dynamic sessions, participants will explore how artificial intelligence is reshaping childhood—cognitively, socially, and emotionally—while gaining insights into the ethical challenges, opportunities, and responsibilities that come with technological advancement. The course addresses critical topics such as digital health and safety, online privacy, cyberbullying, screen time, and addiction, while emphasizing empathy, critical thinking, and balance in children’s digital lives. Participants will learn to model responsible AI use, establish healthy boundaries, and manage issues related to data protection and online behavior. Grounded in child development theory and educational best practices, this course provides actionable strategies to foster digital resilience, creativity, and emotional well-being. Designed for educators, parents, policymakers, and other key stakeholders, it bridges research and practical application to empower adults to raise confident, responsible, and well-adjusted children in the age of AI. Upon completion, participants will emerge better equipped to guide the next generation toward thriving ethically, safely, and successfully in an AI-shaped future.
